Oldham Integrated Care Centre
The Oldham Integrated Care Centre (ICC) is a truly significant health, wellbeing and social care development for the Oldham borough. Opened in November 2009, the ICC is located in the centre of Oldham, adjacent to the main bus station, providing easy access for both staff and patients.
The centre includes a wide range of health and wellbeing services, including:
- Five GP practices
- Treatment facilities including community health services, outpatient services, diagnostics, urgent care, audiology, orthoptics, therapy facilities, children’s services, Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS)
The ICC is one of the largest primary care facilities delivered by LIFT in the UK. The centre brings together services which have never before been offered in one place in Oldham and enables people to have access to diagnostic testing without having to attend hospital.
This flagship development acts as a central ‘hub’ for health and wellbeing services for the entire Oldham borough and provides support and technology links to other health facilities across the borough.
The centre includes some interesting green technologies which are reducing the building’s impact on the environment – Click here for more details.
