New GP facility opens in Hollinwood
A new GP facility for the Hollinwood area of Oldham opened its doors on 1st February. The modular building provides a single GP practice, under the government’s equitable access programme.
It is expected that the temporary facility will remain in place for a period of approximately two to three years whilst a permanent medical centre is developed on land close by.
The development demonstrates Community 1st Oldham’s flexible approach to providing health and well-being solutions for the people of Oldham, ensuring the establishment and continuity of service until a permanent solution can be developed.
